Admissions to undergraduate (B.E./B.Arch) and postgraduate (MBA/MCA/M.Tech) programs at BLDEA's Vachana Pitamaha Dr. P.G. Halakatti College of Engineering and Technology (BLDEACET), Vijayapur are strictly monitored by state regulatory councils. Seats across engineering branches are transparently categorized under government-centralized counseling networks and the direct institutional merit pool.

1. Seat Allocation Quotas & Counseling Identifiers

The university distributes seats across three well-defined structural entry loops governed by the rules of the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA):

2. Mandatory Academic Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy the precise minimum academic performance standards prior to entering centralized web option entry systems:

• Undergraduate B.E. Baselines: Passed the 2nd PUC / Class 12 or equivalent standard science stream with English as a foundational language. Candidates must secure at least 45% aggregate marks across Physics and Mathematics as compulsory foundational blocks, combined with one optional technical block (Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology, Computer Science, or Electronics).
• Statutory Group Concessions: In accordance with the reservation policies of the Government of Karnataka, the minimum academic aggregate requirement drops to 40% marks in core subjects for certified SC, ST, and OBC candidates domiciled in the state.
• B.Arch Prerequisites: Passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a compulsory subject, securing a minimum 50% aggregate score (45% for state-reserved categories), along with a qualified rank in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).
• Postgraduate PRerequisites (MBA/MCA): Requires a relevant Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for state-reserved categories).

3. Step-by-Step Selection & Counseling Pipeline

Securing a seat through the centralized counseling architecture involves sequential checkpoints:

1. Examination & Ranking: Take the respective state or national entrance exam (KCET, COMEDK, NATA, or PGCET) matching your target quota. Track the release of your scorecard index.
2. Online Verification Setup: Upload requested scholastic certificates, domicile tracking metrics, and caste papers onto the KEA or COMEDK portals for strict electronic verification.
3. Web Option Entry: Log onto the choice-filling panels during your counseling window. Arrange your institutional priority sequence, locking BLDEA's Dr. P.G. Halakatti College of Engineering, Vijayapur as your preferred choice.
4. Seat Allotment Order: The algorithmic seat-allocation engine outputs a provisional seat allotment letter based on your rank indices, category reservation slabs, and locked choices. Download your formal admission order form.
5. Physical Onboarding: Report physically to the central administrative desk at the Vijayapur campus. Present all original document folders, clear your institutional semester tuition balances, and finalize your university enrollment.
