Technical Curriculum: The Three Pillars
The workshop is built around three core technical modules that are essential for any modern robotics project:
- Mechanical Fabrication: Understanding the structural integrity and design principles required for mobile robot platforms.
- Electronics Integration: Master the sensor-actuator loops, power management, and microcontroller interfacing necessary for autonomous behavior.
- Software (ROS & Gazebo): A deep dive into the Robot Operating System (ROS) and Gazebo simulation basics to script and test autonomous navigation.
Mandatory Introduction Session
All pre-registered participants are required to attend a compulsory Workshop Introduction Session:

- Purpose: To provide a comprehensive overview and a detailed plan for the physical workshop.
Workshop Participation Fees
The fee structure for the physical workshop at IIT Delhi is categorized as follows:
- DD Robocon 2026 Stage-I Students: ₹3000 + 18% GST (Applicable to colleges that pre-registered for Stage-I).
- General Attendees: ₹5000 + 18% GST.
- Note: Registration fees exclude food and accommodation.
